Chesterfield Fund
The CPEF is pleased to announce the 12th Annual Golf Tournament, held
on May 19, 2008, was a success!!
With the help of everyone who participated and supported this event, the CPEF
was able to raise over $17,000!
The members of the Fund would like to thank our corporate sponsors, Great
Northeastern Enterprises and Matthew J. Lynch, M.D., our platinum
sponsor Gilmer Insurance Agency and our hole-in-one sponsor,
Open Road BMW. We would also like to extend sincere appreciation for
all the families and businesses that supported this event thru a gold, silver or
bronze hole sponsorships and through donations for the live auction and door
prizes.
We would also like to recognize the support we received from our Junior Putters.
All Junior Putters were entered into a drawing for a chance to win a
Family Fun Pack. Morgan Mount
won the 1st place drawing and Kyle Forcini won 2nd
place. Morgan received a gift
certificate for bowling for 6 and a $25 Rosa’s restaurant gift certificate.
Kyle received a bowling for 6 gift certificate.
Certainly we would not have been this successful without the help from all those
who volunteered to help make this event a success.
The Fund would like to thank all of our members for a job well done!
We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to Susan
Layton. Not only did Susan do an amazing job this year, but she has
helped the Fund for the past 9 years by volunteering, sponsoring, donating,
obtaining grants and soliciting support for this organization.
Without her tireless efforts, we certainly would not be were we are
today.
We would also like to recognize Denise Darmody.
Denise has been a Trustee of the Fund for the last 9 years.
Over the years, she has volunteered countless hours with grant reviews,
golf tournaments and After School Activities Programs, just to name a few things
she has done during her time with the Fund.
Denise has been a tremendous asset to this organization.
Unfortunately for the Fund and the Chesterfield School, Denise and Susan will be
leaving us this year. Both have
children in 6th grade who will be graduating.
We wish both of you the best of everything and we cannot thank each of
you enough for all you have done for the CPEF and the Chesterfield School.
We will miss you!
The CPEF would also like to announce that we have purchased a 77 inch SmartBoard
and Projector System for the library.
This system was purchased with memorial contributions made to the CPEF in
memory of the late Marguerite Durr who passed away late 2007.
We again extend our condolences to the Durr Family and thank them for
their generosity in thinking of the Fund and the Chesterfield School.
Congratulations and best wishes to all the 6th grade graduates.
We wish you well in your future.

The CPEF welcomes all to attend monthly meetings, which occur the first
Wednesday of each month. There will
be no meetings in June or July.
