Hi! My name is Mrs. McDermott and I am your child's third-grade teacher.

This will be a fantastic year filled with many learning adventures! This is my 8th year teaching at Chesterfield Elementary School. I have experience teaching Preschool, Kindergarten, First grade, third grade, and Basic Skills for grades 4th, 5th, and 6th. I have a master's degree in Education and certification as a Reading Specialist. I am certified in Pennsylvania, Florida, and New Jersey. I have 18years of teaching experience. 

I enjoy teaching for many reasons, one of which is helping others succeed in reaching academic goals.
