• First Grade Sight Word Practice

    The following sight words are words that your child will see frequently in the books that they are reading. They are also known as “high frequency” or “snap” words. Students will be introduced to 4 new sight words per week. Students should read these with ease, so please practice these words with your child. Sight word instruction significantly improves student’s overall reading abilities. Learning these words are an important part of fluency and comprehension while reading.
