My name is Maria Martinez and I am one of the Instructional Coaches at Chesterfield Elementary. Prior to becoming a member of the Chesterfield School Community, I was a teacher in Rockaway Township for 15 years. I taught grades 2, 3, 5 ELA and ESL for K-5.

I am excited about the opportunity to support teachers in their professional learning! I believe teacher training is an integral component in student achievement and success. As teachers, we are active and responsible members of a professional learning community. Engaging in a variety of reflective practices, professional development, and collaboration with colleagues enhances the teaching and learning process.
