Hello, my name is Mrs. Sorensen! This is my 11th year working at Chesterfield Elementary School. For the first 10 years, I was a special education teacher. I am now excited to be the Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant (LDTC).

I grew up in Washington Township, NJ which is located in South Jersey. I am a proud graduate of The College of New Jersey (TCNJ)! I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Psychology, as well as, my Master's degree in Special Education. I also hold a Learning Disabilities Teacher Consultant certificate. 

I got married in 2018. My husband and I currently live in Cherry Hill, NJ with our two dogs, Odin and Taco. We love to travel and spend time outside.
