    Inclusive Preschool

    Information

Applications are now being taken for the Chesterfield Township School District's Little Dragons preschoolThis preschool inclusive setting provides an opportunity for our students with special needs to learn and grow alongside their peers.  This information is for parents of typically developing preschoolers.   The program for students with special needs is developed with the Child Study Team.  If you have a child with special needs, or if you have any concerns about your child’s development, please contact us at 609-298-3027.

This integrated preschool is a half-day program that meets five days a week for 2.5 hours per day.  There is a morning session and an afternoon session.  Session dates follow the Chesterfield School regular school calendar.  Transportation to and from the program is the responsibility of the parents/guardians.  To be eligible, students must be three years of age prior to entering the program.  They must also be toilet trained, have district required immunization and health records, and be residents of Chesterfield Township.

Because there are a limited number of openings for typically developing 3 and 4 year old students, participants will be chosen by lottery from completed eligible applications.  After the initial selection process, openings will be filled on a first come, first served basis, until the classes are full.  Non-residents are welcome to apply at that time.  Once classes are full, applicants may be put on a waiting list.  Tuition will be $3,200.00 for the year, to be paid in monthly installments.  A non-refundable application fee of $25 is to be remitted with the application. The first tuition payment is due at the time of registration.   Initial Application Deadline is March 15th.

Applications are available here or at the Chesterfield School office.
