Welcome to second grade!

We are going to have a fun year filled with reading exciting books, performing Fractured Fairy Tale plays, doing science experiments and writing interesting pieces. 

My name is Jennifer Surdykowski and I taught first grade last year at Chesterfield. Previously, I taught fourth and fifth grade in Hamilton and in Trenton. I live in Chesterfield with my husband and four children. If you see me walking around the track at the Fenton Lane Park or at the track by the firehouse be sure to wave.

I received my teaching degree from Rider University and also have an undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. I especially enjoy STEAM activities, math games and teaching reading. Our back to school night slides will be posted after back to school night and they will contain valuable information about the classroom. You should have gotten an email letter with a letter to your child and a Google form to tell us about your child. If not, please email us after you first check your spam folder in your email.
