The statewide evaluations system is provided for in the Teacher Effectiveness and Accountability for the Children of New Jersey (TEACHNJ) Act, which was passed unanimously by the Legislature and signed into law by Governor Christie on August 6, 2012. Chesterfield Township School District administrators will join our regional colleagues in using the Northern Burlington County RegionalSchool District Principal Evaluation model, one of the very few district developed models that was approved by the state of NJ. This model is research based and uses the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) Standards as the framework. Chesterfield administrators will participate in a regional training and goal setting with administrative colleagues from Mansfield, Springfield, North Hanover, and Northern Burlington Regional School District this summer. We are excited about this opportunity to work with the instructional leaders in our region in this new endeavor.
