Parent Meeting to Share Thoughts on 17-18 School Year Budget 6:30 p.m.

March 10, 2017

Dear Chesterfield Elementary School Parents/Guardians,

On Wednesday, March 8th, the Chesterfield Township School District Board of Education met for its regular monthly meeting.  At that meeting, the board held an open discussion about the 2017-2018 school year budget.  Unfortunately, the Chesterfield Township School District is facing a deficit and is forced to cut an additional $500,000 from the budget for next year.

The board wants to provide parents with an opportunity to share thoughts on the budget prior to making the necessary cuts.  Please know, this is not a board meeting and the full board will not be present.  However, two representatives from the board will be present to listen to your thoughts.

If you would like to share any thoughts on the 2017-2018 school year budget, please plan to attend a meeting with board of education representatives on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 6:30 PM.  The meeting will be held in the library media center.
